Many folks have happy holiday memories of Barwon Heads, a small yet stylish sea side town on the south coast of Victoria, Australia.
The beers of Barwon Heads Brewing Co are designed to be a 'taste of the good times' to evoke these happy feelings.
At the same time, Barwon Heads Brewing Co father and son founders are heavily involved in the local community, especially sporting teams, and wanted a beer that could just as easily sit in the local cricket club, as it would in an esky at the campground or a trendy bar in the city. To achieve this, we designed a text based brand, that used vintage typefaces to get across a slighty nostalgic feel.
We've used a traditional colour scheme for the core range, one that might be found on sporting club uniforms. This combined with a metallic gold text gives the whole can a premium, yet also classic Australian feel.
